Dr. Alex Suero
Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Alex Suero graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1974. He then graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine cum laude in 1977. After practicing as an Associate Veterinarian for two years, he opened Tuscawilla Animal Hospital in 1980. His professional interests include orthopedics, dermatology, and emergency medicine.
Dr. Vincent Chimienti
Veterinarian
Prior to graduation, Dr. Chimienti did his externship with us at Tuscawilla Animal Hospital and finished his clinical year at the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated with Highest Honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Chimienti is fluent in both English and French, and he is from Montreal. If you’re visiting our office please ask to meet Dr. Chimienti; we’re sure you will agree with us that he is an excellent addition to our staff of veterinary professionals!
Dr. Braxten McAdams
Veterinarian
Dr. McAdams is originally from Frankton, Indiana. He pursued an expedited veterinary track and completed his prerequisite courses at Purdue University in just two years. Dr. McAdams then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical year at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. During his time at UF, Dr. McAdams did his clinical externship at Tuscawilla Animal Hospital. He enjoyed the clients, patients, staff, and atmosphere so much that he decided to stay in central Florida and become a member of our veterinary team. His professional interests include dermatology, behavioral management, and dentistry. If you’re visiting our office, feel free to schedule an appointment with Dr. McAdams!
Dr. Monica Suero
Veterinarian
Dr. Monica Suero received her undergraduate education at Auburn University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Animal Sciences major and Public Health minor. Dr. Monica Suero returned to Florida to complete a dual degree program through UF, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Public Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and orthopedics.
Dr. Leo Chimienti
Veterinarian
Dr. Leo Chimienti is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his externship with us at Tuscawilla Animal Hospital. Subsequent to completing his externship with Tuscawilla Animal Hospital, Dr. Leo Chimienti decided to join the practice as an associate. Prior to his externship, he completed his clinical veterinary year at the University of Purdue, School of Veterinary Medicine in Indiana. Having grown up in Montreal, Canada, Dr. Leo Chimienti is fluent in both English and French.
