Hospital Policy
Tuscawilla Animal Hospital
Hospital Policy: Appointment Policy
To ensure that every patient receives the time and attention they deserve, we operate primarily by appointment. Although we primarily see scheduled appointments, walk-ins or urgent visits are always welcome. While we make every effort to see clients promptly, emergencies will always take precedence, which may occasionally result in appointment delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we prioritize the health and well-being of all our patients.
Hospital Policy: Drop-Off Appointments
For added flexibility, we offer drop-off appointments. This option allows you to bring your pet at a time that works best for you and leave them with us for a few hours. Drop-off appointments are typically scheduled in the morning so our doctors can evaluate your pet between appointments or during reserved time blocks for admitted patients. After the examination, the attending doctor will call to discuss the diagnosis and provide discharge instructions.
Hospital Policy: Vaccination Requirements
To ensure the safety of all animals in our care, we require that your pet’s vaccinations be current unless medically unadvised. This policy helps us maintain a healthy environment for everyone.
Hospital Policy: Pet Arrival Policy
While we strive to create a welcoming and calming experience, pets may feel uneasy in unfamiliar surroundings with new people and other animals. For the safety of all, we kindly ask that pets be restrained on a leash or in a secure carrier when entering the clinic.
Hospital Policy: Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, American Express, Apple Pay, cash, and personal checks.
We aim to provide clear and transparent billing to ensure your experience is seamless and stress-free. We encourage all clients to discuss finances with our doctors.
