Dog and Cat Boarding

Facilities:

Cats: Our cat-only boarding suite was designed with your cat’s comfort in mind. The cat-only suite is located away from all dog boarders to help ensure a low-stress and fear-free environment.
Dogs: Our on-site boarding facility is large, indoor, and climate-controlled. Designed with your pet’s comfort and safety in mind, our facility ensures that your pets feel at ease while you’re away.
Walks and Outside Time:
All boarders are walked outside up to four times daily, providing plenty of opportunities to use the bathroom, get exercise, and enjoy fresh air. Private day play can be accommodated for pets who enjoy extra playtime. Upon request we offer supervised individual play sessions in our fenced yard. We are happy to make special arrangements to accommodate your pet’s unique needs.
Food and Treats:
You’re welcome to bring your pet’s food and treats from home, or you may choose the food we provide. We provide Hill’s Sensitive Skin and Stomach for all boarders who do not arrive with their own food from home. Boarders are fed twice daily, but accommodations can be made for pets who may require more frequent meals for medical reasons.
Personal Belongings:
To maintain a clean and safe environment for all of our boarders, we only permit food, treats, and medications from home. Leashes and collars are sent home with you after checking-in your pet. Our facility provides all necessary bedding and bowls.
Medications:
If your pet requires medication while staying with us, rest assured that our veterinary technicians will administer these according to labelled instructions. An additional medication administration fee ($4/day) is applied for this service.
Meet & Greet Establishing Examination:
New to TAH? We would love to meet you and your pet before their stay. Please schedule a Meet & Greet Examination before your boarding reservation; this appointment allows us to review your pet’s unique medical records, update any required vaccinations, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Requirements:
For the health of all our boarders, we require boarders to have up-to-date vaccinations. Our boarding facility is free of fleas and ticks, and to maintain this standard we require all boarders to be on monthly flea/tick/heartworm medications. To ensure that our facility is free of transmissible intestinal parasites, all boarders must have a negative fecal sample within the past year.

Required Feline Vaccinations: Rabies, FVRCP
Required Canine Vaccinations: Bordetella (kennel cough), Rabies, DHPP, Canine Influenza

Veterinary Supervision:
What is unique about our boarding facility is our on-site veterinarians and trained veterinary technicians. When a new boarder checks in to our facility, our veterinarians review each medical record. Our kennel technicians monitor all boarders’ appetites, bowel movements, and urination, and alert our veterinarians if there are any issues or concerns. If your pet has any medical issue while staying with us, we will always inform you of this. Your pet’s health is our first priority, and our veterinarians on staff allow us to promptly address medical issues if they arise.
